Description
Authenticity, fragrance and lightness are the features of our Apulian taralli! Perfect for an aperitif and a snack, they are always there in the kitchen cupboards of a true Apulian! Legend has it that, in the thirteenth century, during a terrible famine, an Apulian housewife baked the first tarallo in history to feed her children. At home she only had flour, olive oil, salt, brewer’s yeast and white wine: by mixing them together, flattening the mixture, and dividing it into thin strips and creating “rings” of leavened dough, cooked in a wood oven, an amazing food was the result, whose diffusion on the tables of all the Apulians was very rapid and continues today. The “Aria di Mare” traditional taralli differ from industrial products because they follow the original recipe and maintain the same genuine taste and authenticity. Try them and you won’t regret it! INGREDIENTS: Soft wheat flour 00, extra virgin olive oil, brewer’s yeast, salt, wine. ALLERGENS: Gluten and Sulphites
